Name a better red carpet duo than Heidi Klum and her son Henry Samuel. We’ll wait.
The pair have been gracing the red carpet lately and reminding us of the rewarding side of parenting—when you transition from parent to friend.
Their most recent red carpet appearance was at the New York City premiere of The Drama at Regal Union Square. Klum wore an all-white structured dress while Henry rocked an all-black suit. In March, the pair also appeared together at the NYC premiere of Project Hail Mary, rocking suits and looking every bit the model chic duo they are.
The 20-year-old is a rising star, but that’s no surprise given his genetic mix. When you have an iconic supermodel as your mom and Seal as your dad, the odds of you succeeding are out of this world. Henry has already started ripping runways and is signed to Next Management, following in his mother’s footsteps.
Last year, the 20-year-old walked the runway during the Lena Erziak Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2025 show at Paris Fashion Week.
Klum couldn’t be a prouder mother and was surprised when she learned Henry wanted to pursue a career as a model.
“He was like, ‘You know, Mom, I really want to get into modeling, what do you think about it?’” she told PEOPLE in March 2025. “I’m like, ‘Wow! Who knew that you wanted to do this? I thought you were always more into music and different types of things,’ and all of a sudden he was like, ’Yeah, I want to give this a shot. Do you think I can do this?'”
As a supportive mother, Klum affirmed her son and encouraged him to start his journey in fashion. “‘You’re like, so handsome, of course you should do this,'” she told him, encouraging him to practice his runway walk. “So he strutted around a little bit at home,” Klum said at the time.
His singer father also rallies behind him and is proud of the path he’s carving out for himself. He celebrated Henry’s runway debut during an interview.
“Watching him, or seeing him in those photos, having such a great time and looking like he was really enjoying the experience, that personally is what gave me great happiness,” he told E! News.
That said, Henry is also carving out a career in music, like his father. He plays the guitar and is a fan of rock and blues, as well as rap, as he told GQ.
“I’m very lucky to have a family that can support me in that sense, but also it’s a little bit [nerve-racking], ’cause I’m kind of putting on the show for them, too,” he said.
Klum and Seal were married in 2005, but they eventually split in 2012. Throughout the years, they raised four children together including 20-year-old Henry: Leni (Heidi’s daughter from a previous relationship), 21, Johan, 19, and Lou, 16.
