Today, Netflix released the official trailer and contestant lineup for Funny AF with Kevin Hart, a new stand-up comedy competition. The series brings together a group of rising comedians from across the country, all competing for a shot at becoming the next breakout name in comedy under Hart’s guidance.

The trailer offers a first look at the series, highlighting both the pressure and unpredictability of stand-up. In the video, contestants take the stage in front of Hart and a rotating panel of established comedians, and the format places a strong emphasis on performance, with comedians advancing or being eliminated based on their ability to connect with the audience and deliver under pressure.

Throughout the season, Hart is joined by a lineup of guest judges that includes Keegan-Michael Key, Tom Segura, Kumail Nanjiani, Chelsea Handler, and Nikki Glaser. Produced by Hartbeat and Alfred Street Industries, Funny AF with Kevin Hart positions itself as a direct look at the journey from open mics to national recognition, with the next generation of comedians stepping into the spotlight.

The series premieres April 20, and will roll out over three weeks, followed by additional installments on April 27. The competition will culminate in live semifinal and finale episodes on May 4 and May 5, where viewers will be able to vote in real time to determine the winner. The final decision will be revealed during the live broadcast.
